Welder / Welding Specialist
Location: Camarillo, CA
Pay: $23–$35/hr
We are seeking an experienced Welder / Welding Specialist to join a growing fabrication team in Camarillo. This role involves fabricating and assembling highly corrosion-resistant process equipment for industries such as chemical processing, energy, and pharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform welding and fabrication on pressure vessels, piping systems, and heat exchangers.

Weld corrosion-resistant alloys such as titanium, tantalum, zirconium, and high-nickel alloys.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.

Set up and operate welding equipment and related fabrication tools.

Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications.

Perform fit-up, layout, and assembly of metal components prior to welding.

Maintain a safe and organized work environment and follow safety procedures.
Qualifications:
-
3+ years of welding or fabrication experience, preferably in industrial manufacturing.

Experience with TIG, MIG, or other welding processes.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
-
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
-
Experience welding exotic or reactive metals (titanium, zirconium, etc.).

Familiarity with ASME codes or pressure-vessel standards.

Previous experience in heavy fabrication or process equipment manufacturing.
