RESPONSIBILITIES
- Receives and completes daily routine written facilities work orders and verbal instructions from manager and department colleagues within departmental guidelines.
- Creates work orders on facilities work order system to report and track safety and maintenance work orders per departmental procedures and guidelines. Promptly communicates any safety issues needing immediate action to Facilities management.
- Completes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly routine maintenance tasks in a consistent and thorough manner. Responsible for conference room set-up requirements and prepares rooms with appropriate seating and table accommodations based on direction/requests.
- Checks all conference rooms daily in the morning to ensure rooms are properly arranged in neat, organized order (e.g. tables, chairs at the tables, white boards clean, markers available, and lights working); performs general clean-up to ensure that the room is ready for future use.
- Performs office furniture repair, interior/exterior painting in the Headquarters, Logix branches and completes other assigned maintenance tasks as needed.
- Informs Facilities management when work scope requires third party assistance.
- Monitors and performs carpet and ceiling tile repairs as needed. Maintains adequate stock and reports replenishing needs to management.
- Maintains positive relationships with all vendors to ensure prompt service.
- Monitors third party furniture reconfigurations to ensure accurate and complete work.
- Provides prompt, efficient, and courteous service to internal customers; follows up and keeps them informed of the service progress.
- Work within their own team and have a direct impact on their own tasks.
- Responsible for pressure washing balcony and other exterior areas of the HQ building.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITY
- Must be able to work individually or in a team when required
- Must have working knowledge of terminology, methods, practices, tools, and procedures related to maintenance and repair and/or basic knowledge of building/construction trade.
- Working knowledge of computer software, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Valid California Driver’s License and successful DMV driving background check.
- General knowledge of heating, ventilating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and modular furniture workstation systems.
- Ability to understand scaled construction and installation drawings.
