CSM Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supplier (Customer) Management: Maintain regular communication with suppliers (customers) to ensure timely delivery of materials and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Purchase Order Processing: Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently in accordance with established procedures. Coordinate with internal stakeholders, such as production, planning, and quality control, to ensure timely availability of materials to meet production schedules.
  • Supplier (Customer) Performance Evaluation: Assist in monitoring supplier (customer) performance to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and delivery commitments. Identify opportunities for supplier (customer) improvement and work with suppliers (customers) to implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, invoices, and other relevant documentation. Generate reports and analyze data related to procurement activities, supplier performance, inventory levels, and cost savings for management review.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality control, logistics, and finance, to ensure alignment and efficient coordination of procurement activities. Participate in cross-functional meetings and projects to support organizational objectives and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience:

  • Prior experience in procurement and/ customer supplied material management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or dietary supplement industry, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and supplier (customer) relationship management.
  • Strong analytical skills to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Proficient in using procurement and inventory management software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards applicable to the pharmaceutical industry is desirable.
