Responsible for performing cycle counts with great attention to detail to track and monitor inventory within the warehouse. Must also aid in any inventory returns, adjustments, verifications, and dispositions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Cycle counts raw materials, packaging materials, finished goods, semi-finished goods and non-conforming materials on a daily basis
- Monitors and controls inventory integrity
- Maintains product identification, location, and lot code accuracy
- Research inventory discrepancies
- Works with Finance and Logistics teams to resolve inventory problems in a timely manner
- Reports discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products
- Ensures materials are in proper locations.
- Conducts searches in order to locate misclassified inventory
- Opens cartons, bundles, and other containers to count items and/or weigh materials to determine quantity on hand. Weighs and marks the product, displaying the remaining product left.
- Communicates and develops process enhancements as needed.
- Performs root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and recommends process improvements to eliminate them
- Performs physical wall-to-wall inventory as needed
- Moves inventory and assists the logistics team with returned and expired inventory when primary functions are completed
- Assist the logistics team with dispositions and any inventory inquiries.
