Job Specific Responsibilities:
|
- Possess knowledge of working properties of Aerospace metals and skill with machine tools to plan, Set-Up & carry out the operations needed to make machined products that meet their precise specifications.
- Knowledge of measuring instruments required for general machine shop use.
- Use the proper measuring tools in order to check the accuracy of their work against blueprints.
- Have the ability to set-up & operate Manual Lathes, Mills, other machine shop equipment.
- Able to read blueprints.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.

Qualifications:
|
- Minimum 5 years Machinist experience (Manual Mills & Lathes).
- Mechanically inclined individual with good problem solving ability.
- Able to produce accurate work (tolerances reach +/-.001 of an inch).
- Mathematical machining skills required.
- Proficient working with conventional lathes and Mills.
- Familiarization with Aerospace Materials.
