PURCHASING MANAGER FOR A FAST PACE AEROSPACE MANUFACTURER NEEDED IMMEDIATELY. CALL MARIA AT 661-775-2570
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reviews purchase request in accordance with the Customer requirements, Sales Order and Contract
- Negotiates prices
- Prepares Purchase Orders
- Tracks delivery of supplies & materials
- Prepares RMAs for defective materials·
- Provide guidance to purchasing personal
- Manage Inventory
- Update shop travelers with support from Engineering and production
- Manage and oversee the ERP system
- Provide training to purchasing personal
- Oversee day to day indirect purchasing personals responsibilities
- Review Customer contracts
- Source New suppliers for cost savings and new product
- Approve new supplier
- Good judgment skills with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with people on all levels and from various backgrounds
- Other projects as duties as assigned
- To identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system.
- To initiate, recommend or provide solutions through designated channels.
- To verify the implementation of solutions and control further processing or delivery of nonconforming product until the deficiency or unsatisfactory condition has been corrected.
