Machinist Level II
Position summary:
As a Level II Machinist. This position sets up and runs programs. Machines complex parts as well as weldments and castings.
Essential Functions:
- Read and Interpret Blueprints
- Perform CNC Warmup Procedures and Basic Preventative Machine Maintenance
- Use a variety of measurement tools for complex measurement verifications (Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, ect.)
- Perform Setups, Make Fixtures
- G-Code knowledge and Basic Machine Programs
Tight Tolerance holding
- Perform Tapping, Counter Bores, Countersink and Reaming Holes
- Some Deburring and Prep for Inspections
- Understand thermal expansion and its effects
- Must be willing to accept and receive frequent supervision and assistance with regard to machine set-ups, operating and loading.
