Provider Credentialing Coordinator
Location: [Confidential – Local Opportunity]
Position Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday
Reports To: PAS Manager
About the Role:
Express is seeking a detail-oriented Provider Credentialing Coordinator to join a healthcare team focused on ensuring timely and accurate credentialing for providers, clinics, and pharmacies. This role ensures compliance with payer and regulatory requirements across all contracts and programs.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage credentialing and re-credentialing for providers, clinics, and pharmacies.

Coordinate submission of credentialing applications, updates, and terminations across multiple entities.

Maintain and update credentialing records, licenses, and provider rosters.

Obtain and manage NPI numbers, CAQH profiles, and organizational documents.

Liaise with payers and credentialing organizations to ensure timely submissions.

Track expirations, renewals, and compliance deadlines using Excel or credentialing systems.

Assist management with special projects and contract-related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:

High school diploma required; some college preferred.

Minimum of 4 years of administrative, clerical, or credentialing experience.

Knowledge of credentialing processes and health plan requirements preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general office applications.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines.
