Tile Setter – Residential and Commercial Construction in the Yuba-Sutter Area
Express Employment Professionals has partnered with a well-established construction company in the Yuba-Sutter area to hire an Experienced Tile Setter. This is a full-time, evaluation-to-hire opportunity for a dependable tradesperson with strong skills in all phases of tile work, including demo, prep, and installation. The role offers steady work on both new construction and remodeling projects.
Responsibilities:
• Perform all phases of tile setting, including demolition, surface preparation, layout, and installation.
• Cut, shape, and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power tools.
• Mix, apply, and spread mortar, adhesives, and grout.
• Ensure precision and quality craftsmanship in all installations.
• Follow project specifications, blueprints, and detailed measurements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–4 years of tile setting experience in residential or commercial construction.
• Ability to handle demo, prep, layout, and installation independently.
• Strong knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and attentive to detail.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.
• Must have reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.
Compensation & Benefits:
• $25.00–$30.00 per hour (Depending on Experience)
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Monday–Friday schedule
