Food Safety Manager
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Food Safety Manager for a walnut processing plant in the Yuba City area.
Pay: $25–$35/hr (DOE)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overview
Lead all food safety and regulatory efforts at the plant to ensure compliance with HACCP, BRC, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and enforce food safety programs and documentation

Lead audits and act as liaison with regulatory and accrediting agencies

Partner with QA and plant leadership to address food safety concerns

Train and mentor staff on food safety programs
Qualifications
-
Food Safety Management experience
-
Knowledge of HACCP, BRC, and food safety regulations

Strong documentation, leadership, and communication skills
