Position Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the HR department across a variety of functions, including onboarding, recruitment, employee records management, and offboarding processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring compliance with company policies, maintaining accurate HR documentation, and delivering a positive employee experience. The HR Coordinator also leads the planning and execution of employee engagement and morale initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Onboarding & Employee Experience
- Prepare new hire paperwork and assist with onboarding processes
- Support and facilitate new employee orientations to ensure a smooth transition
- Promote a positive employee experience through effective communication and support
Recruitment Support
- Post job openings across various platforms
- Screen candidates via phone and coordinate interview scheduling
- Maintain consistent communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
Offboarding & HR Administration
- Assist in preparing termination paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and personnel files
- Enter and update employee data in HRIS systems
- Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, mailing, and document preparation
Employee Engagement & Culture
- Plan, organize, and lead employee morale and engagement events
- Track employee anniversaries and coordinate recognition efforts
General HR Support
- Respond to employee inquiries and direct them to appropriate resources
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information
- Support special projects and additional HR initiatives as assigned
Qualifications

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and occasionally high-pressure environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
- Minimum of 1 year of administrative support experience, preferably in Human Resources
- Experience with HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, HRIS, or employee records preferred
- Internship or prior HR experience is a plus
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer (7–8 hours per day)
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Intermittent walking, bending, and movement throughout the day
- Work is performed in a standard office environment with moderate noise levels
