TIG Welder – Agricultural Equipment Manufacturing
Location: Yuba-Sutter Area
Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
Overview:
Express Employment Professionals in Yuba City is partnering with a well-established agricultural equipment manufacturer in the Yuba-Sutter area to hire a skilled TIG Welder.
This position supports the fabrication of agricultural material handling equipment including conveyors, structural frames, hoppers, bins, and custom components. The ideal candidate has solid TIG welding experience, understands structural fabrication, and takes pride in producing clean, high-quality welds built for durability in field environments.
This is a stable, long-term opportunity within a growing manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel components
- Fabricate structural frames, supports, and agricultural equipment components
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and fabrication drawings
- Fit, align, and assemble parts prior to welding
- Ensure welds meet strength and quality standards
- Perform grinding, finishing, and cleanup work
- Assist with custom fabrication projects as needed
- Maintain welding equipment and follow shop safety procedures
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of TIG welding experience required
- Experience welding structural components preferred
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Manufacturing or fabrication experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
- Dependable and able to meet production deadlines
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, kneel, and work in fabrication positions
- Comfortable working in a shop environment
Compensation & Benefits:
- $20.00 – $25.00 per hour depending on experience
