Job Title: Accounts Payable Temp
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21/hour
Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Temp supports the day-to-day operations of the AP department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, and ensuring timely and correct processing of payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
- Perform data entry of invoices and vendor information into the accounting system
- Ensure all invoices reflect correct payable amounts prior to processing
- Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
- Monitor vendor payment terms, discounts, and deadlines to optimize payment schedules
- Assist with resolving discrepancies and communicating with vendors as needed
- Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support the AP department
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Strong organizational and communication skills
