Job Title: Accounts Payable Temp
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $21/hour

Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Accounts Payable Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Temp supports the day-to-day operations of the AP department. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, reviewing vendor invoices for accuracy, and ensuring timely and correct processing of payments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review, verify, and process vendor invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
  • Perform data entry of invoices and vendor information into the accounting system
  • Ensure all invoices reflect correct payable amounts prior to processing
  • Maintain and update vendor records, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
  • Monitor vendor payment terms, discounts, and deadlines to optimize payment schedules
  • Assist with resolving discrepancies and communicating with vendors as needed
  • Perform general clerical and administrative duties to support the AP department

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
