Sandblasting / Powder Coating Technician
Location: Yuba City, CA
Pay: $18.00 per hour (DOE)
Job Type: Full-Time / Long-Term
Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overview:
Express Employment Professionals has an excellent opportunity with a reputable local manufacturing company in Yuba City seeking hardworking individuals with Sandblasting and/or Powder Coating experience.
This is a full-time, long-term position within a production environment offering steady hours and consistent scheduling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate sandblasting equipment to clean and prepare metal surfaces
- Use high-powered abrasive blasting systems safely and efficiently
- Prepare surfaces by masking, grit blasting, and chemical rinsing
- Apply powder coating finishes according to specifications
- Ensure jobs are completed on schedule
- Perform quality checks and document completed work
- Maintain safe work conditions and properly handle hazardous materials
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform preventive maintenance
Qualifications:
- Previous sandblasting or powder coating experience preferred
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Ability to follow safety procedures and production guidelines
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable and punctual
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with dust and noise
