Maintenance Worker
Location: Grimes, CA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Pay Rate: $20.13/hour
Express Employment Professionals is seeking a hardworking and dependable Construction Laborer to support a well-established reclamation company in Grimes, CA. This full-time opportunity offers hands-on work in land restoration, environmental improvement projects, and site support operations.
Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including digging and trenching (no heavy equipment operation or excavation work)
- Assist with grading and reclamation support tasks
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Support site operations including levee burning, cutting firebreaks, and fire watch duties
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow directions from supervisors and site leads in a timely and accurate manner
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Previous construction or reclamation experience is a plus
- Reliable, safety-focused, and a strong team player
