Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Overview:
Express Employment Professionals in Yuba City is partnering with a well-established energy and fuel distribution company in Colusa County to hire an experienced Maintenance Mechanic.
This position supports the maintenance and repair of industrial facility equipment including pumps, motors, piping systems, storage tanks, and fuel transfer systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience working in industrial or heavy equipment environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on pumps, motors, and mechanical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair piping systems, valves, and fittings
- Inspect and maintain fuel storage and transfer equipment
- Maintain loading racks, meters, and facility infrastructure
- Diagnose mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently
- Assist with basic electrical troubleshooting (motor controls a plus)
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure safe operation of equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation
- Follow all safety, environmental, and compliance procedures
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting ability
- Experience with pumps, piping systems, and motors preferred
- Ability to read mechanical diagrams and schematics
- Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or energy environments preferred
- Strong safety awareness
- Valid driver’s license required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to climb ladders and access elevated equipment
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Comfortable working around industrial equipment
Compensation & Benefits:
