Maintenance Mechanic – Williams, CA
Express Employment Professionals is hiring for a long-term, full-time Maintenance Mechanic in Williams, CA. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, and completing mechanical repairs to keep industrial machinery operating properly.
Pay: $22–$35/hour, depending on experience
Job Duties
- Perform preventative and routine maintenance on industrial equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Inspect machinery and identify maintenance and repair needs.
- Repair and replace bearings, belts, chains, motors, pumps, valves, and other equipment components.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and complete necessary repairs.
- Assist with equipment installation, setup, and adjustments.
- Perform welding, fabrication, cutting, and other maintenance repairs as needed.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
- Read and reference equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
- Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- Industrial maintenance experience preferred.
- Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
- Experience working with industrial machinery or production equipment.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read equipment manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma/GED preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and work in various positions.
- Ability to lift and move materials and equipment.
- Ability to work around machinery, noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
