Job Full Description
Local Not-for-Profit is seeking a Fiscal Compliance Specialist to add to their team. The Specialist will provide financial and clerical support to the agency’s major financial accounting areas.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with the development and preparation of the Contract Module
- Review of contractor and agency monthly Revenue and Expenditure reports
- Maintaining a system for disbursement of funds to contractors and agency administration
- Assists with review, reconciliation and compiling of provider Requests for Payment by contract and funding source
- Reviewing and approving annual provider application updates; financial reporting and monitoring; batching preparation; verification of check/journal/timesheets/leave verification; data entry to logs; preparing reports, surveys, and related correspondence
- Maintaining filing system, and general clerical support
Required Skills and Experience:
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Work well alone or in collaboration with a team
- Strong computer user with intermediate experience in Excel and Word
- BA/BS or four years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Excellent comprehensive benefits upon permanent hire. Level 2 federal background screening required. Compensation begins at $20.20/hr. Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm.
