Solar Sales Specialist

Pay: estimated $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

 

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solar Sales Specialist to join our energetic team. In this role, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base through proactive outside sales efforts, engaging with potential clients directly and building lasting relationships. Responsibilities

  • Conduct door-to-door sales campaigns to introduce our energy products and services to prospective clients in assigned territories.

  • Engage with customers in multiple languages as needed, ensuring clear communication and understanding of product benefits.
  • Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track leads, manage customer interactions, and analyze sales data.
  • Present technical solar and energy solutions tailored to meet individual customer needs, demonstrating product features and advantages.
  • Negotiate terms with clients effectively to close sales while maintaining profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly and guiding clients through the purchasing process.
  • Lead sales initiatives independently while collaborating with the broader team to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and new product offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Represent the company at community events or trade shows to expand outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, particularly in energy or solar sales environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM software platforms such as Salesforce; experience with other CRM tools is a plus.
  • Multilingual abilities are highly desirable to engage diverse customer bases effectively.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies that support direct sales efforts.
  • Ability to conduct door-to-door outreach and outbound calls confidently and professionally.
  • Technical understanding of solar energy systems or related energy solutions is preferred.
  • Exceptional customer service skills coupled with strong communication abilities.
