Job Title: Part-Time Office Assistant
Location: Gainesville, FL
Hours: 20 - 25 hours per week, Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour
About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and organized Office Assistant to support a busy insurance agent with daily administrative and customer service tasks. This part-time position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small office environment, has strong attention to detail, and provides excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner

Greet and assist clients visiting the office

Handle basic data entry, filing, scanning, and document management

Schedule appointments and maintain the agent’s calendar

Prepare correspondence, forms, and policy documents as needed

Process mail, payments, and other routine office transactions

Assist with marketing mailings or follow-ups to clients

Maintain office supplies and ensure the workspace stays organized
Qualifications:

Previous office or administrative experience preferred (insurance experience a plus)

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer tasks
