Insurance Office Assistant (17/hr, full-time)
Successful insurance agency has an immediate opening for an evaluation-to-hire Office Assistant.
Duties will include greeting clients, answering phones, routing calls to the appropriate agent/agency, data entry, outgoing and incoming mail, and customer service. Candidates should be a capable computer user, accurate typist, and have experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2+ years' experience in an office environment performing clerical duties or customer service
- Friendly and welcoming personality; an individual that like helping clients
- Accurate typist with speeds of approximately 40 wpm
- Professional presentation and behavior
- Capable computer user with intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
Position will start at 17/hr. After permanent hire, company offers medical insurance, dental, life (50k), vision, 15 days of PTO per year, paid holidays, and 401k with match. Working hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm with a 1 hour lunch break.
