The Painting Production Manager oversees all residential and commercial painting projects from start to finish, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and to company quality standards. This role manages field crews, schedules projects, coordinates materials and equipment, and serves as a key link between sales, clients, and painting teams.

Plan, schedule, and manage multiple residential and commercial painting projects simultaneously

Supervise and support field crews, including painters, foremen, and subcontractors

Ensure projects are completed according to scope, specifications, timelines, and budgets

Conduct jobsite visits to monitor quality, safety, and productivity

Ensure proper surface preparation, application techniques, and clean-up standards

Address and resolve jobsite issues, change orders, and client concerns promptly

Coordinate material ordering, delivery, and equipment availability for each project

Enforce safety policies, including proper use of PPE and ladder/scaffold safety

Maintain consistent quality standards across all jobs and crews

Train and mentor painters and crew leaders to improve skill level and performance

Communicate regularly with sales, estimators, and clients regarding project status

Manage punch lists, final inspections, and project close-outs

Track labor hours, productivity, and job costs to improve efficiency and profitability
