Intake Specialist (18/hr to start)
Non-Profit organization in Gainesville is currently hiring for an Intake Specialist working to help serve the needs of the elderly community. Successful associates will be considered for permanent opportunities as they become available.
Job duties include but are not limited to: screening applicants over the phone, providing excellent customer service, and assisting clients in determining eligibility for Medicaid and state funded home and community services.
Requirements:
Strong spoken and written communication skills
Computer savvy (proficient in word/excel, typing > 40wpm)
Excellent Customer Service skills
Required Experience:
2 years’ experience in a call center position (medical, insurance or social services call center/customer service highly preferred)
4 years of education or experience (or a combination) in a human services, social services or healthcare related field
High school diploma or GED
Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred but not required
Position works 8am - 5pm Monday through Friday and starts at $18.00/hr. After permanent hire, employees will be eligible to work remotely from home 2 days per week and work in office 3 days a week. Strong comprehensive benefits package available after permanent hire.
