Human Resources Coordinator (18.00 - 22.00/hr DOE)
Overview
This role supports the HR Manager in handling daily HR tasks. Responsibilities include recruiting, onboarding, employee support, benefits administration, and general HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Recruiting
- Post and manage job openings
- Track candidates and schedule interviews
- Conduct background, reference, and employment checks
- Communicate updates with hiring managers
- Send offer letters
Onboarding
- Complete new hire paperwork and setup in HR systems
- Assist with orientation and training setup
- Process I-9s and employment verifications
- Manage benefit enrollments and eligibility tracking
- Create employee badges and maintain records
Employee Engagement
- Coordinate employee events and recognition programs
- Send birthday and anniversary communications
- Manage company newsletter and employee items (swag)
Additional Duties
- Support performance review process
- Maintain employee files and HR records
- Handle employment verifications
- Assist with benefits, including 401(k) and open enrollment
- Respond to employee questions and concerns
- Help plan meetings and events
- Manage office logistics (conference room, keys, inventory)
- Travel occasionally to other office locations
- Perform other HR-related tasks as needed
Skills & Abilities
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Able to work independently and in a team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2–3 years of administrative or HR-related experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Professional references
- Must pass a background check
