Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process, ensuring a positive experience for prospective tenants while adhering to Fair Housing regulations. This role requires strong sales skills, excellent customer relationship management abilities, and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Duties
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to potential tenants.
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing.
- Utilize upselling techniques to highlight property features and amenities.
- Negotiate lease terms and conditions with prospective tenants.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and related documents.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations throughout the leasing process.
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve conflicts in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to ensure properties are well-maintained.
- Provide administrative support related to real estate operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or customer service, preferably in real estate or property management.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle difficult situations professionally.
- Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent negotiation skills and ability to close deals effectively.
- Proficient in office software applications and customer relationship management systems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple files and tasks simultaneously.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Schedule:
Monday–Friday
9:00AM–6:00PM
Every other Saturday:
10:00AM–4:00PM
(If working Saturday, candidate receives a weekday off — typically Thursday.)
