Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Assignment Length: 2–3 weeks, with possible permanent hire based on performance

Express Employment Professionals is hiring detail-oriented Cleaning Associates for a short-term fire restoration project in Gainesville, FL.
This project involves cleaning smoke-damaged surfaces inside a high-end residential home. The work will take place in an air-conditioned environment and will require associates who can stay focused, work carefully, and remain productive throughout the day.
Because this is an occupied residential property with cameras throughout the home, professionalism, reliability, and the ability to stay on task are extremely important.
Associates will report to The Best Restoration each morning and will be transported to the work site by the company.
Job Description
Cleaning Associates will assist with detailed cleaning and restoration work following a small residential fire. This is not heavy construction work, but it does require patience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions closely.
Job Duties
Responsibilities may include:
- Cleaning smoke-damaged walls, surfaces, fixtures, and household areas
- Wiping, scrubbing, and detailing affected areas
- Following instructions from the restoration team
- Using cleaning supplies and PPE safely and properly
- Maintaining a professional attitude inside a private residence
- Staying busy and productive throughout the shift
- Helping keep the work area organized and clean
Requirements
Qualified candidates should have:
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable attendance and transportation to the meeting location
- Ability to work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
- Ability to stand, bend, reach, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks
- Professional attitude and respect for working inside a private home
- Ability to follow directions and stay on task without constant supervision
