Apartment Maintenance Technician (EPA Certified) (21 - 23/hr to start)
Property Management company located in Gainesville has an immediate opening for an apartment Maintenance Tech with their EPA certification at a small property with approximately 100 units. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity that is expected to lead to a permanent job offer for the right candidate.
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the community and units. The main duties include but are not limited to diagnosing problems and making repairs, ensuring all upkeep, inventory, preventative maintenance, and repairs of the grounds, common areas, amenities, apartments, and buildings of the community are completed in an efficient and cost effective manner. Skills needed for the job will include carpentry, light electrical, and plumbing.
Candidates will need to possess their EPA certification and have experience troubleshooting/repairing HVAC units.
The Maintenance Tech is expected to be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use of hand tools and small power tools. All maintenance activities will follow OSHA and company safety policies at all times.
Position will work Monday - Friday 8am to 5pm with some opportunity for overtime and pay $21 - $23/hr depending upon experience.
