Express Employment in Temple Terrace is currently hiring candidates for an Glazer for a local company. This position is full-time and has long-term opportunities. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of glass products in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial.
Job Description:
- Pay rate $19+ per hour
- Monday – Friday
- Long term | Full time
- Install glass windows, doors, mirrors, shower enclosures, and other glass products
- Measure and cut glass to specifications using appropriate tools
- Assist with removing old glass and preparing spaces for new installations
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards, and quality control measures
- Operate tools such as glass cutters, power drills, and suction cups
- Maintain accurate records of all job completed and report any issues to management
- Work in compliance with all safety regulations
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven experience as a glazer or glass installer
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend in English
- Recent and relevant work history in the last 6 months
