Job Full Description
Established custom steel plant in Pendergrass, GA, is seeking grinders to join their team. The position will focus on the removal and cleaning of debris from burned plate for customer orders. Tools used may include hand grinders, hammers, and chisels.
Pay rate: $18/hr
Shift: 1st or 2nd
Required Qualifications:
- Grinding Experience or Hand Tool Experience
- Ability to read tape measure
- Ability to work as a team or independently
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to stand and squat for entire shift
- Dependable
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- High school education or equivalent
Preferred Experience:
- Grinder, Welder, or Hand Tool Experience
- Lift Truck Operation
- Overhead crane (higher lever positions available if you have overhead crane experience)
