Geosynthetics Q/A Field Technician
Location: Pendergrass, GA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25/hour
Job Summary
We are seeking a Field Geosynthetics Technician to perform on-site inspections and testing of geosynthetic materials used in civil and environmental construction projects.
This is an onsite, in-the-field position.
Responsibilities
- Inspect geosynthetic installations (geomembranes, geotextiles, geogrids)
- Perform seam testing (air pressure, vacuum box, spark testing)
- Verify installation meets project specifications
- Document test results, repairs, and daily field reports
- Communicate findings to project teams
- Follow safety and QA/QC procedures
Requirements
- Recent experience in the Construction Industry is a must
- Ability to work outdoors and travel as needed
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working on uneven terrain and active construction sites
- Use of PPE including hard hat, safety boots, gloves, and safety vest
Preferred
- Background in construction materials testing, QA/QC, or field inspection
- Experience in geosynthetics, CQA/QC, or construction inspection
- OSHA 10/30 or similar certifications (plus)
