Job Full Description
Express is seeking a licensed sales and member engagement specialist for a local health insurance company. Will promote, contribute, and grow membership by providing education, engagement, and outreach activities to individuals, community partnerships, brokers, members, and other stakeholders.
Job duties include:
- Ensuring membership goals are achieved by responding to leads, invitations to present, seminar presentations, referral follow-ups, education, and/or training needs
- Maintaining technical, regulatory product expertise and serving as a product resource for internal and external partners
- Serving as a liaison and advocate for internal sales and stakeholders
- May complete all applications and documentation required for internal processes to ensure enrollment of individuals
- May identify and coordinate process improvements efforts, trainings, communications, and/or product and sales tools and resources by collaborating with departments across the organization
- May be responsible for coordinating with marketing and communications regarding email communications, newsletters, webinars, and broker portal content maintenance
- May coordinate and develop statewide broker meetings and solicit input to enhance the broker experience
Ideal Candidate:
- MUST have current/active insurance license in Idaho (health/life/disability) or be able to pursue reciprocity if you hold a valid license in another state within 30 days of start date
- 2-3+ years’ experience in health industry, health benefit sales, and/or health insurance sales
- Medicare Advantage experience is extremely helpful
Other Details:
- Position is onsite in Meridian, ID; remote opportunities are not available
- Position is seasonal and expected to be 6-7 months in length with a possibility to extend
- This is a very phone-heavy role
- Schedule is Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm, and some overtime, including nights and weekends, may be requested
- Pay rate is $27-33/hr.
