Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking a utilization management representative for a health insurance company. Job duties include:
- Review member eligibility and benefit structure for requested referrals or prior authorizations
- Respond to incoming calls from internal and external customers via multiple types of media
- Review documentation and request additional information needed to complete a review of requested services
- Initialize, route, and complete request for services
- Inform members and providers of determination
- Enter and maintain documentation per policy and procedures
- Complete correspondence according to established workflows
Skills:
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Familiarity with ICD10 and CPT coding
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Problem solving skills
Other details:
- Pay rate is $23-28/hr. DOE
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Role is expected to be 6 months to 1 year in length
- Position is onsite
