Express Employment Professionals is seeking a Forklift Operator to work with Idaho Power’s Canyon Operations Center!

Pay: $22.73/hour

Schedule: 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday thru Friday

Type & Projected: 40 hrs/week, 07/21/2025 to 11/30/2025

Principal Accountabilities & Deliverables, includes but is not limited to;

• With limited supervision, receives, stores, retrieves, and issues electrical utility materials, tools, supplies, and equipment.
• Develops and maintains indoor and outdoor storage areas.
• Uses computerized inventory control system to record all materials movement transactions.
• Position works within a warehouse and yard environment and involves working with chemicals, equipment, and material that requires special handling, storage, and packaging due to exposure to potential environmental and safety hazards.
• Maintains organization, cleanliness and 5S Standards within facility and daily workspace.
• Ensure safe working environment through regular safety inspections and cleaning and maintenance of all storage and work areas and equipment.
• Uses hand and power tools, and powered equipment.
• Works in a team-oriented and customer-service-focused environment.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Education / Experience and Skills

• Forklift experience
• Knowledge of ERP software and scanners.
• One year of materials handling, or utility material & equipment knowledge and experience, or an equivalent combination of appropriate training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Abilities
• Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50+ pounds
• Must be able stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl 5% or less of the workday
• Must be able to sit and walk or otherwise move around for prolonged periods of time throughout the workday.
