Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking a customer service representative for the hazard claims department for a company that funds affordable housing. Job duties include:
- Taking phone calls and processing customer requests regarding their insurance claims
- Maintaining friendly and helpful interactions with borrowers
- Answering questions regarding claims and starting the process for borrowers
- Explaining the claims process to customers, obtaining paperwork, and ordering inspections
- Documenting progress of claims and following up for finalization and closing claims per Agency guidelines.
- Responding to customer inquiries, working to meet customer needs, and maintaining good customer relations
- Working within necessary timeframe to process incoming claims, requests, and claim inspections
Requirements:
- 6 months+ of experience in residential real estate lending, residential loan processing, loan closing, and/or loan servicing is a plus
- Ability to provide excellent customer relations
- Ability to work independently, and be flexible, engaged, and reliable
- Ability to be organized and prioritize workload
Other details:
- Schedule is Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm
- Pay rate is $18/hr.
- Position is long-term temporary role with possibility of temp to hire based on company’s hiring needs, performance, and attendance
