Title & Type: Tool Room Assistant, evaluation to hire
Pay: $18-22/hr DOE
Schedule: M-F 6am-3pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Use surface grinder to sharpen and recondition tools
- Inspect, issue, and maintain tools and fabrication equipment to machinist
- Ensure tool room and storage areas are clean, stocked, and organized
Requirements:
- At least 6 months’ experience in a tool shop/using surface grinders
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and enthusiasm for supply and inventory duties
- Ability to follow instructions, receive feedback, and have a collaborative learning attitude
