This could be a good job for you! Express Employment Professionals of Boise, ID is seeking a Ditch Rider for a local client!
Title & Type: Ditch Rider, Seasonal Contract
Pay: $30+/hr DOE
Schedule: Flexible hours, 25-40+ w/ on-call during peak season (April-October)
Key Responsibilities:
- Ditch maintenance/clearing canals and ditches of obstructions and debris
- Patrol & monitor irrigation canals for unimpeded water flow.
- Coordinate with construction and governmental agencies to ensure proper access and usage
- Surveying and writing reports
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Ability to use personal vehicle in the course of duties, valid driver’s license, clean driving record
- Knowledge of water flow and pressure; knowledge of irrigation systems
- Ability to work in outdoor, physically active role
- Familiarity with Idaho water laws and governing agencies
