Job Full Description
Express Employment is seeking a staff accountant for a safety equipment supplier. Job duties include:
- Performing general and cost accounting activities
- Preparing and tracking monthly journal entries
- Maintaining accounting system and inventory system
- Performing monthly bank reconciliation
- Performing month-end and quarter-end closing
Skills:
- Knowledge of GAAP, SOX requirements, and cost accounting
- High proficiency with Excel
- 3+ years of experience in accounting
- CPA certification is preferred
Other details
- Role is temporary, approximately 6 month
- Schedule is Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
- Pay rate is $25/hr.+ DOE
