Pay: $22-$32 per hour
Overview:
Express Employment Professionals is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Construction Foreman, as well as crew leaders, to lead and manage crews across various construction projects—including framing, siding, finish work, and potentially foundation and excavation. This is a hands-on, "tools-on" role requiring a solid background in residential and commercial construction and a commitment to project excellence.
The right candidate will bring strong leadership, communication, and technical skills to the job site each day, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and up to the highest quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead construction crews in the field, ensuring adherence to blueprints, project specs, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate day-to-day operations including scheduling, material handling, and task delegation.
- Interpret technical drawings and oversee work in framing, siding, finish carpentry, and other phases of construction.
- Manage project timelines and track progress using construction management software.
- Monitor budgets, control costs, and report financial updates to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other teams to maintain workflow.
- Conduct quality control and safety inspections throughout all phases of construction.
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members to enhance productivity and skills.
- Troubleshoot job site issues and implement effective, timely solutions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Construction Foreman or in a related leadership role.
- Deep knowledge of residential and commercial construction, including blueprint reading and technical specifications.
- Familiarity with budgeting, scheduling, and contract management in the construction industry.
- Strong problem-solving and time management skills.
- Commitment to safety, efficiency, and high-quality results.
- Experience with construction software is a plus.
