Hospital Food Service Worker
Location: Pullman, WA
Pay: $17.88/HR, dependent on experience
Schedule: Wednesday-Sunday, 11 AM to 7:30 PM (through April)
About the Role:
We aren’t your typical hospital cafeteria. This position is key to the smooth operation of food service in the cafeteria. The Food Service Worker operates the cash register, stocks products, takes orders, assists teammates, and provides excellent customer service in a healthcare environment.
What You'll Do:

Help customers order meals and other items
-
Serve meals to customers with a positive attitude

Operate the cash register and handle transactions
-
Communicate with cook staff to ensure food is properly prepared

Stock food, beverages, and supplies
-
Assist in other areas of the department as needed

Maintain punctual and regular attendance for all scheduled shifts
What Were Looking For:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Ability to work cooperatively with nutrition staff, coworkers, and customers

Willingness to accept assigned duties in a cooperative manner

Accountability for own actions

Participation in departmental meetings and cleaning projects

Washington State Food Handler’s Card within 30 days of hire
