Grain Quality Technician
Location: Lewiston, ID
Pay: $20.00/HR
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Must be available to work weekends and be flexible with schedule changes to meet seasonal business needs.
Grain Testing & Quality Control Opportunity
We are hiring dependable and detail-oriented Grain Quality Technicians to support a company specializing in grain testing, grain inspection, quality assurance, and agricultural product analysis. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, following established procedures, and working in a fast-paced agricultural environment.
As a Grain Quality Technician, you will evaluate grain samples, perform quality testing procedures, record results, and help determine grain classification and customer destination requirements. This role is well-suited for candidates with experience in data entry, agriculture, quality control, production, laboratory support, warehouse operations, or manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Break down grain samples and perform grain quality testing procedures
- Inspect and evaluate grain samples according to established guidelines
- Determine grain quality specifications and assist with sample classification
- Enter testing results and related information into computer systems
- Follow detailed procedures and testing protocols accurately
- Maintain organized work areas and testing stations
- Work efficiently in a dusty agricultural environment
- Follow all safety procedures and workplace standards
Qualifications & Skills
- Data entry experience and basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
