Mover - Temporary
Location: Potlatch, ID
Pay: $19.00/HR
Schedule: September 25-27, 9:00 AM-4:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Mover Opportunity
We are hiring dependable Movers to assist with relocating a local manufacturing shop to a new facility. This short-term opportunity is ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work, can safely handle heavy lifting, and take pride in working efficiently as part of a team.
Must-Haves
- Ability to perform heavy lifting
- Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
- Safety-focused mindset
Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move equipment, tools, and materials
- Assist with disassembly, packing, and setup of machinery
- Safely transport items throughout the facility
- Use dollies and other moving equipment to relocate large items
- Organize materials during the relocation process
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow directions and safety procedures at all times
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to work safely around equipment and machinery
- Comfortable performing physical labor throughout the shift
- Ability to follow directions and work efficiently
- Team-oriented attitude
Preferred Experience
- Heavy lifting and general labor experience
- Moving or relocation experience
- Warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience
- Experience working around machinery or industrial equipment preferred
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and reaching
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- Comfortable using dollies and other moving equipment
