Welder | 7:00AM – 3:30PM | Monday – Friday | $21.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Decatur, IL - local manufacturer of custom material handling equipment
Qualifications for Welder
- Previous MIG welding experience
- Ability to pass a weld test
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read blueprints
- Previous fitting experience is a plus
Responsibilities for Welder
- Layout, position, align, and fit components together
- Prepare parts as needed prior to fabrication
- Tack-weld parts to secure in position for welding
- Perform all required fabrication and finish welding operations
- Perform rework and salvage procedures as required
- Deburr and clean product prior to completion
- Operate material handling equipment
