Shipping Coordinator| 8:00AM – 5:00PM | Mon-Fri | $20.00/hr- $21.00/hr
An established contract warehouse operation in Decatur, IL is looking for a Shipping Coordinator. This company provides logistics solutions to a dedicated client serving a world-wide customer base.
Qualifications for Shipping Coordinator
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to enter data with accuracy
- Ability to multi-task in a busy shipping environment
- Shipping/Receiving experience would be preferred
- Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Previous telephone customer service experience would be a plus
- Detail oriented and organized
Responsibilities for Shipping Coordinator
- Check drivers in and out of the operations
- Prepare bills-of-lading
- Schedule inbound and outbound loads
- Enter data into the warehouse management system
- Track returned shipments
- Answer phones
- Communicate shipping schedules to customers and warehouse staff
- Audit inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy
- Resolve inventory discrepancies
