Job Full Description
Yard Laborer | 8AM – 5PM | Monday – Friday | $20.00/hr
Decatur, IL – auto parts, loader needed to assist in daily operations and maintain inventory in the yard
Qualifications for Yard Laborer
- Able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 75#
- Experience operating a loader is a plus
- Mechanical aptitude
- Basic troubleshooting and repair abilities
- Salvage yard experience is a plus
Responsibilities for Yard Laborer
- Move vehicles and parts in the yard to optimize space
- Operate crusher
- Unload and put away incoming inventory
- Check in and inventory and update records
- Prepare loads for shipment
- Empty scrap buckets into dumpsters
- Maintain the yard to include: mowing, weed eating, snow removal
- Perform basic preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment
