Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Sycamore, IL
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay: $20.0-$22.00/ hour
Position Summary:
Top local employer specializing in precision fabrication, is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our team in Sycamore, IL. The Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring all products meet customer specifications and internal quality standards before they leave the facility. This role plays a key part in maintaining our reputation for high-quality workmanship and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect incoming materials, in-process components, and finished goods for quality and conformance to specifications

Document inspection results and maintain accurate records

Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment

Communicate quality issues with production team and leadership

Support root cause analysis and corrective action efforts

Assist in maintaining ISO standards and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:

Prior quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications

Familiarity with precision measurement tools

Good communication and teamwork skills
