Job Full Description

We are seeking a dedicated night shift operator to join our manufacturing team. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for setting up and running high-speed machinery equipped with robotic components to accurately shape and cut steel materials according to precise standards.

Shift & Compensation:

  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with work every other Saturday

  • Pay: Starting at $24 per hour, plus production bonuses

Hiring Process:
Candidates must successfully complete an assessment, followed by an interview with leadership. Please note, applicants with frequent job changes may not qualify.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout procedures, to ensure safe and efficient machine operation

  • Perform detailed setup and fine-tuning of production equipment before and during shifts

  • Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality, documenting and communicating any issues promptly

  • Maintain and care for tooling and other equipment essential to daily operations

  • Troubleshoot equipment and quality concerns to minimize waste and production interruptions

  • Keep work areas clean and organized through regular housekeeping duties

  • Accurately complete production reports, including records of changeovers and scrap

  • Support maintenance teams with preventive maintenance and repairs as needed

  • Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives

  • Carry out additional tasks as directed by management

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Ability to read, write, and document production data clearly in English

  • Prior experience in manufacturing or a related industrial environment is preferred

  • Proficient in basic math, including addition, subtraction, decimals, and fractions

  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers

  • Certified or capable of operating forklifts, cranes, and other necessary equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently

  • Dependable with consistent full-time attendance per schedule

  • Commitment to following health and safety standards as per regulations and company policy

Physical Requirements:

  • Able to frequently move and support weight using core and lower back muscles without fatigue

  • Capable of standing for long periods (10–12 hours) and performing repetitive motions requiring dexterity and coordination

  • Able to lift up to 60 pounds and perform physical activities including climbing, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling

  • Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing setting
