Customer Service Rep | $20.00/hour | Monday through Friday 8:00a - 5:00p | Dekalb, IL

Position Summary

We are searching for seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to support customer communication, order coordination, and reporting. This role serves as a key liaison between customers, production, and logistics partners to ensure accurate order fulfillment and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to provide accurate and timely information regarding:

    • Order status

    • Product details

    • Shipping and delivery timelines

  • Collaborate with production teams to determine and communicate shipping schedules

  • Coordinate shipments with freight carriers and logistics providers

  • Process customer returns in accordance with company procedures

  • Compile, organize, and process customer and operational data into reports

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to orders, shipments, and returns

  • Provide professional, responsive customer service while resolving issues efficiently

Qualifications & Skills

Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Previous customer service, order processing, or office support experience

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency with basic computer systems and data entry

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience coordinating shipping or freight logistics

  • Experience working with production or manufacturing teams

  • Familiarity with reporting or spreadsheet tools

  • Experience using ERP Systems
