Machine Operator (Experienced) – Job Description
Pay based on experience
We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating industrial machinery in a production environment and a strong focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery according to specifications
- Ensure machines are running efficiently and producing parts within quality standards
- Perform basic troubleshooting and minor machine adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and consistency
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or production instructions
- Record production data and report any issues or defects to supervisors
- Perform routine maintenance and assist with machine cleaning and upkeep
Requirements:
- Prior experience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment
- Ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
