Express Employment Professionals is hiring Production Workers for a local manufacturing company. This position supports the production, processing, and inspection of wire products while meeting safety, quality, and production goals.
Job Responsibilities

Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment used for wire drawing, stranding, extrusion, spooling, and cutting.

Load wire rods, reels, spools, and other raw materials into production equipment.

Measure wire diameter, length, and tolerances using gauges, calipers, and micrometers.

Inspect products for breaks, surface flaws, and dimensional defects.

Package, label, and move finished reels and coils.
-
Maintain accurate production and quality records.

Perform basic machine adjustments, cleaning, and routine maintenance as trained.

Follow safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and required personal protective equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized work area.

Report equipment malfunctions, production issues, and quality concerns to supervisors.
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous manufacturing experience preferred; wire, metal processing, or extrusion experience is a plus.

Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and basic technical documents.

Basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools.

Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.

Dependable attendance, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn.
Physical Requirements & Work Environment

Stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.

Lift, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Bend, climb, and perform manual material handling.

Work safely around moving machinery and rotating equipment.

Work in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, heat, metal shavings, and lubricants.

Shift work, overtime, and weekend availability may be required.
