Job Full Description
Job Summary:
- Clean residential homes and apartments
- Occasionally clean newly constructed buildings prior to move ins
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways etc.
- Empty wastebaskets and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas
- Sweep, scrub using brooms, mops or powered scrubbing machines
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean and tidy
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts
- Use of equipment i.e. vacuum cleaners
Location: Bloomington, IN
Position Type: Evaluation Hire
Pay: $15.00 /hr
Schedule: 9:00 AM-5:00 PM Monday-Friday
Qualifications:
- Ability to be on your feet for the entirety of the shift, may also be bending, stooping, or squatting
- Cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to lift 35 lbs
- Knowledge of standard cleaning methods and procedures
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with others on the team
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
- Must comply with quality standards
- Excellent communication skills and professionalism
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a collaborative environment
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations
